I love Kane, but to say he (or anyone) is a Hall of Famer after such a relatively short period in the league, c'mon man.

I remember Bob Costas, of all people, announcing in the 3rd inning of Steven Strassberg's MLB debut that he was a sure fire Hall of Famer. Most idiotic statement I've ever heard. Maybe Strassberg will get in the HoF, but nobody with a brain says that in the 3rd inning of his debut.

Kane has accomplished a lot of but has another 10 years or more left in his career, barring injury. Let's see what he does over his career before we talk about Hall of Fame. (Not just for Kane, for any player)

I'm not a big Kane guy but with guys like LaFontaine, Gartner, & Sundin in the HOF I really don't see any road blocks that should prevent him from entry. 2 cups and a Conn Smythe will usually do it.
